About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location. Job Functions: Develop ETL mappings to extract data from a source data system (databases, files, etc.), transform the data based on business requirements and load the data into a target data system (databases, files, etc.). Conduct performance tuning of the mappings developed to ensure that the data is extracted, transformed, and loaded in a reasonable amount of time based on the requirements. Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports using BI software and perform unit testing of the reports developed. Work on multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment) of BI Dashboard and reports. Develop required documentation in support of the development life cycle. People First. Technology Always. Requirements

Senior: 8 years of IT experience
SME: 10 years of IT experience
5+ years experience with Perl, Linux RedHat.
Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology.
Capable of utilizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
Experienced in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
Solid foundation in, and application of, data warehousing and reporting platform concepts with ability to recommend solutions and drive best practices.
Travel: 10 %
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle Label Security and PL/SQL is highly desired.
Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments is preferred.
