Asbury Automotive Is Now Seeking an Experienced Area Vice President to oversee the Colorado and Utah Market! Do you have a passion for developing talent, providing exceptional guest experiences, and being an innovator in the automotive industry? As an Area Vice President, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and in the lives of team members and customers every day. Candidate must have multiple rooftop General Management experience with proven track record of growing market share, used car volume, guest experience, team member development, and increased operational efficiency. Domestic General Management experience, specifically Stellantis, is preferred. The position will support dealership operations with hands-on coaching/leadership/training within the state of Colorado and Utah. Requirements

  • Must have a proven track record of General Manager experience
  • Must have previous experience overseeing multiple roof-tops
  • Must be at-least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)

Nice To Haves

  • Domestic General Management experience, specifically Stellantis, is preferred

Responsibilities

  • The Area Vice President is responsible for ensuring that all stores and leaders in assigned market are driving exceptional guest experience in the store.
  • The Area Vice President will be actively engaged in ensuring that the store leadership is effectively hiring, training, developing and on-boarding staff.
  • The market Director is responsible to ensure all stores in assigned market are focused on guest satisfaction, retention and profitability of each department in the dealership.
  • Motivate, supervise and develop dealership team members
  • Successfully ensure that all stores in assigned market are implementing the latest technologies and processes to foster exceptional guest experience
  • Serve as a role model/servant leader and ensures that the core values of the company are encompassed in behavior at all times
  • Hire, train, develop and motivate all market personnel
  • Play a lead role in the recruitment, on-boarding, development, and retention of technicians
  • Drive the culture within the market and stores focusing on Guest Experience in all departments
  • Responsible to ensure that all stores in assigned market are fostering a strong relationship with GEC
  • Ensure that all store leaders are conducting daily meetings to ensure that the stores are operating efficiently and profitably
  • Direct and monitor all General Manager functions and complete formal performance evaluations at regularly scheduled intervals
  • Ensure assigned stores are the sales leader in the local market and fulfills/exceeds the manufacturer market share and sales efficiency
  • Address and positively resolves all store leadership challenges to ensure high level of employee and guest satisfaction
  • Work directly with the General Manager to ensure that all expenses are controlled and maintains Asbury’s expectation for gross profit
  • Meet with General Managers individually to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives while reviewing actual performance
  • Meet with store leadership to ensure that the store prepares the dealership’s annual budget and submits to Asbury for final approval
  • Ensure that all assigned stores are achieving all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved to receive yearly manufacturer award
  • Ensure all new and used vehicles in stock of assigned stores are properly merchandised (custom descriptions, price to market, photographs, videos)
  • Protect and maintain Asbury's standards and Company’s assets
  • Treat all team members professionally and with respect
