About The Position

We rely on our Area Vice President (AVP) to be accountable for the performance of a regional group of our centers. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum five (5) years experience working in a multi facility long term care environment
  • Ability to travel overnight more than 50% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Preference may be given for experience in a direct multi facility operations role or for previous experience supporting Field Operations in HR, Clinical or Finance role
  • Preference may be given for a State license in the healthcare field

Responsibilities

  • Ensure center leaders institute and deploy clinical systems and standards that improve patient outcomes, produce exceptional quality care and reduce unwanted or unplanned hospital readmission
  • Provide center leaders direction and assistance in creating strategic plans for centers
  • Identify drivers of variability (facilities, market drivers) and offer advice to center leaders on where to make improvements
  • Assess strengths and weaknesses of center leaders and teams (capital, people, financial, clinical, real estate)
  • Monitor all, proactively address under performers (e.g., mystery shop, audit)
  • Quickly respond to "service" needs/requests for assistance
  • Monitor and enforce brand/franchise standards
  • Help center leaders with referral source relationship development and maintaining the company presence in the market
