About The Position

As Area Vice President of Sales, you will lead and execute sales strategy across your assigned region while partnering with national commercial leadership to drive overall company growth. You will manage, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team while expanding CDL’s footprint across cardiology practices and hospital systems. You’ll drive impact by: Executing regional and national sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue goals Managing, motivating, and developing Territory Managers and Business Development Managers Acting as a player/coach while the business scales Collaborating with Commercial leadership on best practices and resource development Driving brand awareness and marketing efforts with internal and external partners Analyzing market and performance data to optimize geographic and account targeting Preparing activity reports and participating in quarterly operating plan reviews Ensuring compliance with sales, regulatory, and company standards Developing Key Opinion Leader (KOL) champions and enabling peer-to-peer engagement Supporting physician experience programs and technology demonstrations Maintaining the highest level of customer experience across all CDL technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
  • Proven leadership experience in cardiology or cardiac imaging sales
  • Strong understanding of cardiology practice and hospital sales environments
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver cohesive value propositions across multiple channels
  • Experience analyzing sales and market data to guide strategy
  • Ability to articulate clinical, economic, and HEOR value to customers
  • Strong communication, coaching, and presentation skills
  • High level of organization and commercial acumen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading multi-territory teams
  • Established relationships within cardiology practices and health systems
  • Experience with healthcare marketing tools and CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with digital marketing or web-based tools

Responsibilities
