The Area Vice President of Sales & Marketing serves as the strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the overall commercial strategy for Makeready’s Columbus portfolio, including The Junto and The Merchant Building. This role blends high-level strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, driving performance across all sales and marketing disciplines - leisure, group, digital, and brand partnerships. Rooted in Makeready’s guiding principles and entrepreneurial culture, this leader will serve as a visible and influential advocate in the Columbus community—actively engaging with key business leaders and partners. They will ensure that each property’s unique story is brought to life through innovative sales and marketing strategies that align with the company’s broader vision. The Area VP of Sales & Marketing will cultivate lasting relationships within the global travel community, inspire creative collaboration across teams, and position Columbus as a destination defined by authenticity, connection, and craft. This is a multi-property leadership role requiring a balance of strategic foresight, brand storytelling, and commercial acumen to elevate performance, inspire teams, and deliver measurable business growth.
