About The Position

We are seeking an Area Supervisor based in Largo, FL. The Area Supervisor is
responsible for the day-to-day oversight of janitorial operations across
assigned facilities. Ensures cleaning staff are properly staffed, trained,
supplied, and executing work to scope, while maintaining quality, compliance,
and strong communication with management. The Supervisor plays a critical role
in stabilizing operations during the transition to self-performance and ensuring
service expectations are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day porters and night cleaning staff across assigned DMS locations
• Ensure all buildings are cleaned according to scope of work, schedule, and quality expectations
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify service execution and identify deficiencies
• Monitor attendance, coverage, and staffing needs; address call-outs and arrange coverage as needed
• Train new and existing employees on cleaning procedures, safety, appearance standards, and account expectations
• Ensure janitorial closets, equipment, and supplies are organized, stocked, and maintained properly
• Communicate daily with the Project Manager regarding staffing, service issues, client concerns, and building conditions
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure issues are fully resolved, not just temporarily addressed
• Support transition of employees into the self-performed model, including onboarding, accountability, and performance management
• Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, coaching, employee issues, and operational follow-up
• Enforce company policies, dress code, safety procedures, and service standards
• Build strong working relationships with on-site contacts while ensuring communication flows through proper management channels
• Assist with special projects, periodic work, and operational support as needed
