The Area Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of custodial services as outlined in the schedule of Operations at facilities to which he or she is assigned. Train, coach, guide and directly supervise assigned personnel. Plan and organize all custodial operations. Perform continuous inspections of facility areas taking appropriate actions as needed to resolve sub-standard or non- conforming performances. Continually evaluate methods, procedures, processes and materials to improve performance and reduce operating cost. Establish and maintain effective employee relations. Allocate work as needed due to shortages or special requirements or events. Take immediate action on routine complaints; report those of a serious nature to the Director of Operations, Operations Administrator or Senior Management. Review and verify time keeping reports by payroll deadlines.
