AREA SALES MANAGER TRAVEL RETAIL – MIAMI, FL COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate. The Area Sales Manager will report directly to the Key Account Manager, this position will lead independently the Sales, Investments and In-store performance of Travel Retail America accounts with key focus on the Cruise ships channel. Responsibilities will include achieve sales and plan investments, manage accounts, manage and implement marketing and trade marketing guidelines. RESPONSIBILITIES As our Area Sales Manager, the person will be responsible for: Define and follow budget targets to reach top-line sales and profit levels. Manage regional spending for the area/ group of customers. P&L management. Deliver on market share retail objectives. Develop strong working relationship with Regional Accounts. Work with clients to maximize all aspects of business (in-shop space & locations, prices, investments, promotions…) Forecasting responsibilities on sellable and non-sellable goods (POS material, GWP etc.) to optimize costs and avoid obsolescence. Analize sell-out and inventory levels to maximize business full potential. Work closely with the Retail and Training teams to align on sellout strategies. Day-to-day management of accounts jointly working with TR Americas Team (Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance and Logistics departments). Drive commercial negotiations at corporate (HQ) and field levels (stores). Continuously look for and assess new business opportunities within area. Together with Key Account Manager and TR Americas Marketing team, define, negotiate and implement marketing, launch and promotional plans, Ensure that merchandising and visual implementation is in line with corporate and brand guidelines. Conduct store visits to assess, train and drive business opportunities. Negotiate promotional activities to develop the business. Market Intelligence: gather market information related to the industry (market size, distribution, pricing, launch results, ranking etc.) Continuously seek new opportunities in space and location to enhance brand image and visibility Negotiate and implement Coty Brand Image in all doors according to VIP guidelines (ie personalized Brand fixtures – where possible) Working for Coty means our people make us who we are.
