In this role, the Area People & Culture Business Partner is at the forefront of driving the company's people strategy and purpose in our stores. What You'll Do As an Area P&C Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to the wider Retail Leadership Team and P&C function. Provide strategic and consultative advice and insights on the people agenda, process and best practice across the Area to ensure a consistent and quality delivery of the P&C agenda in country, with particular focus on: Here is how it looks in action: Coach and develop the P&C Managers to share an inspiring and engaging vision that drives the P&C Strategy and Purpose forward, thereby enhancing the employee experience and fostering the growth of individuals for future opportunities. Using data insights, work in partnership with the Recruitment and Retail teams to deliver the workforce plan, advise on the hiring of key roles, and strategize on tactical solutions to address hiring challenges. Support the P&C Managers as they work with Store Managers and the Retail Management teams in-store to identify training needs and solutions that enable our people to reach their potential Coach and develop the Store Managers and the Retail Management team to deliver high performance through engaged and developed teams Encourage the growth of the Primark culture, support the P&C Managers to interpret engagement survey results, and assist the stores to embed Primark programs to expand colleague engagement and well-being Responsible for the governance of people policy, process and practice and adherence to regulatory, legal and compliance requirements across the Area you are assigned Support Store Managers and P&C Managers by providing expertise in local employment law and escalating complex issues with Central P&C where necessary Monitor the KPIs that most impact the running of the business across the Area and take action as appropriate with insight led decision-making and communicate with US P&C Leadership on matters that may require country-wide intervention Lead the delivery of organizational change and act as a champion for change in business projects. What You'll Bring To be successful in this role, you must have 2+ years as an Area HR Manager/HRBP; plus additional work experience, and functional leadership experience is preferred. Professional HR certification desirable Proven Senior HR professional with experience at a comparable multi-site employer Experience in coaching & influencing, leveraging your ability empower others through direct and indirect leadership. You bring solid consultative abilities with a talent for clear and persuasive communication Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Good working knowledge of employment legislation Analytical/ problem-solving skills and an interest in developing commercial acumen Delivery/facilitation skills Experience in Talent, Performance, and Change Management Position holder must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, orally and in writing, with managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues in English to provide instruction, coaching, corrective action, safety instructions and lead teams as a manager daily and in emergencies. Position holder must also be able to provide amazing customer service in English, which includes being able to orally communicate with customers in English and monitor the performance of English-speaking colleagues whose job duties require communication with customers. Requirements
