About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage and support the work activities performed by our janitorial staff and ISPs. The Operations Manager has operational accountability for their assigned accounts and Account Managers; they must manage and train their team and inspect the building regularly to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. Janitorial Operations Manager Responsibilities: The Operations Manager reports to the Regional Director of Operations and is responsible for the following activities under the direction and guidance of the Vice President of Operations: Responsible for the management of a portfolio of accounts or assigned accounts, and the Managers and Supervisors assigned to each account. Conduct site evaluations/audits to buildings ensure that services are performed as contracted and meet the customer specifications Conduct quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory as well as general use of equipment buildings Carry out Management responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable State and Federal laws Maintain/monitor work schedules of all shift personnel, including the preparation and submission of weekly payroll time sheets in ADP. • Resolve on-site services delivery problems if support is requiredfrom on site Manager Onboard and set-up training for all new employees (including hands-on training; job shadowing; etc.). Train by example: perform the duties of a janitor while they shadow you. Manage any employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately; Document and report to management or HR. Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management. Ensure all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents. Complete training courses as required. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience, and up to date knowledge of cleaning practices/procedures.
  • English/ Spanish Bilingual.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
  • High integrity and discretion required.
