About The Position

As an Area Manager, you will be leading in daily operations and ensure the smooth and timely flow of plant production, with a strong focus on delivering quality products to the next operation and ultimately to the customer. This role is accountable for achieving key business goals related to safety, quality, cost, and delivery within their assigned area. The Area Manager will coach, develop, and support hourly associates while also holding team members accountable for performance and objective attainment. In addition, this role plays a critical part in translating and executing Business Center strategies at the floor level, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the production process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

• 4-year technical degree.
• Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience, manufacturing or military experience.
• Experience in tire manufacturing processes.
• Clear verbal and written communication across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain the smooth and timely flow of plant production, ensuring a quality product is delivered to the next operation/customer.
• Lead and promote safety in all aspects of the plant.
• Lead adherence of all procedures, audits, practices, and standard work within the operation.
• Develop employees and foster a team culture.
• Develop, maintain and provide continuous improvement in his/her team.
