About The Position

Area Manager Sacramento Region | Multi-Unit Retail Operations (4 Locations) We are seeking a highly capable District Manager to oversee 4 retail service centers in the Sacramento area. This role is ideal for a hands-on, people-first leader who excels at developing strong teams, driving revenue performance, and maintaining operational excellence. Because this search is confidential, the company name is intentionally not included. Position Structure 4 days per week in-center supporting teams, coaching leaders, and ensuring operational standards 1 work-from-home day (Mondays) dedicated to administrative work, reporting, planning, and strategic follow-through Compensation Base salary: $75,000 annually Bonus: Performance-based bonus opportunity of approximately $16,000 per year, tied to revenue and P&L achievement

Requirements

  • 3+ years of multi-unit management experience in retail, hospitality, fitness, beauty, or similar service-oriented environments
  • Proven track record of developing teams and achieving revenue and KPI performance
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing labor, inventory, and P&L budgets
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and influence teams in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Performance Development
  • Build, coach, and mentor high-performing Center Managers and teams to consistently achieve revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional guest service
  • Conduct regular center visits to observe performance, deliver coaching, and implement action plans
  • Operational Excellence
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, operational procedures, and guest experience expectations across all locations
  • Analyze weekly metrics to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with Center Managers to maintain a clean, safe, and well-run environment
  • Financial Management
  • Manage labor, scheduling, and staffing levels to meet productivity and profitability goals
  • Oversee inventory controls to ensure accuracy, minimize waste, and protect margins
  • Monitor P&L performance across centers, ensuring alignment with budgeted targets
  • Talent Development & Staffing
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build stable, capable teams
  • Identify leadership potential within centers and create succession plans
