With over 430 retail stores worldwide, our Store Leadership Teams are essential to our business. From ensuring effective store operations, strategies, and procedures, to guiding and developing team members, our Store Leadership Teams help create memorable customer experiences while supporting and helping drive the company’s mission of “Connecting Active People with Their Passions.” The Area Manager primarily functions as a Store Manager and will also assist in the district by partnering with 2-3 additional stores on training and development initiatives, performance guidelines, and operational efficiency to maximize profitability. Their home store is usually used as an example of operational, visual, customer experience and Human Resources best practices. They are a motivator and leader, training and directing a diverse store staff and developing talent. They lead and model a dynamic buying environment in their store, and stores supported, while meeting financial performance and KPI goals. The Area Manager typically spends two days each week working with their assigned stores, and three days each week working within their home store.
