About The Position

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across multiple sites or locations within an assigned area. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, employee engagement, and achievement of performance goals while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Compensation: $75,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars) The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program 401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested. Benefits: ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience, preferably overseeing multiple locations or teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
  • Proven ability to manage performance, resolve conflict, and develop leaders
  • Experience with operational metrics, budgeting, and workforce planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems
  • Ability to travel between sites as required

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for multiple site managers and operational teams within the assigned area
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Drive performance metrics including productivity, quality, safety, and cost control
  • Manage staffing needs, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning
  • Partner with HR on employee relations matters, including corrective action and investigations, as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, labor laws, safety regulations, and industry requirements
  • Monitor budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses to meet financial targets
  • Identify operational gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with leadership, HR, Safety, and Finance teams
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, provide guidance, and support management teams
