About The Position

The Area Manager (AM) is responsible for leading operations across two (2) HTeaO locations in Abilene, TX. Locations are: 3214 S. 14th St. Abilene, TX. 79605 4308 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene, TX. 79606 The Area Manager will ensure exceptional customer experiences, consistent execution of brand standards, and strong financial performance. This role oversees store-level leadership, drives sales growth, develops high-performing teams, and maintains a positive store culture aligned with HTeaO values. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in high-volume retail or quick service environments, capable of managing multiple locations, coaching Assistant General Managers and executing company initiatives with consistency and accountability.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and leaders with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and operational reporting systems (sales, inventory, labor, cash controls, etc.).
  • Retail or Quick Service management experience preferred; multi-unit experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and respectful in all situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching, leadership development, and performance management for store Assistant General Managers and leadership teams.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational excellence.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture across both locations.
  • Ensure stores are clean, organized, fully stocked, and maintained to Company standards.
  • Oversee merchandising, store presentation, and execution of corporate initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Analyze daily sales, labor, and expense reports; take corrective actions to maximize profitability.
  • Manage inventory ordering, conduct scheduled inventories, and investigate variances.
  • Develop action plans to meet or exceed Company performance goals.
  • Ensure employee schedules align with Company guidelines to optimize labor, coverage, and customer service.
  • Hold store leadership accountable for staffing plans and productivity metrics.
  • Plan and ensure execution of regular Community Marketing efforts (approximately 5 hours per week per location or per company guidance).
  • Actively represent HTeaO in the local community to build brand awareness and drive traffic.
  • Communicate corporate initiatives, policy updates, and operational directives to store leadership teams.
  • Partner closely with the District Manager and Corporate Support Teams to drive consistent execution.
