About The Position

Manages all activities to safely manufacture quality products according to our customers’ schedules. Responsible for continuously improving safety, quality, productivity, communications, morale and training.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to perform simple tasks, such as typing a letter and using basic commands such as setting tabs, opening and closing files, and simple formulas.
Prior experience with and computer and/or PC required.
Word, Excel, Auto Cad and Intuitive ERP are used to complete the tasks of the job.

Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsible for two-way communication with management and employees.
Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Coordinates manufacturing activity with management.
Performs area tasks as needed.
Leads continuous improvement around safety, productivity, and quality
Maintaining a clean and safe plant.
Works in a safe manner at all times, ensuring all employees follow all safety guidelines.
Manages employees in the area of responsibility.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and costs related within this area.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
