About The Position

This individual will be managing a crew of technicians who mainly work overnight. The manager's schedule will vary to be available for the technicians at these different times. These technicians are Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians. The Service Area Manager must be ready at any given moment to report to job sites as needed, which include heights, small spaces, and accessing commercial rooftops and kitchen hood systems. Requirements

  • Experience in Hood Cleaning is preferred, but not necessary
  • Field management is a REQUIREMENT. The ability to manage technicians out in the field is necessary.
  • Expert at leading, supervising, or managing field technicians
  • Ability to lead multiple crews in the field or management in the service field is required
  • Maintain a valid driver's license to drive company vehicles to job sites.
  • Ability to work a varying schedule including late evening, overnights, to early morning hours.
  • Valid driver’s license is required – company truck provided from shop to job site
  • A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required
  • You must be at least 20 years old

Responsibilities

  • The enforcement of all safety rules both on and off the job site for the team.
  • Reviews production costs and product quality and modifies processes to maintain and enhance the profitable operation of the division
  • Supervision of direct reports including; interviewing, hiring, payroll, timekeeping, disciplinary action, employee appreciation, training, and development of team members.
  • Sets and meets organizational goals concerning P&L performance
