About The Position

Area Manager of Operations Ontario, Canada – Remote (visiting stores in area) Driven Brand’s Uniban group is looking for a Driven Area Manager of Operations who wants to make a difference! Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the role of the Area Manager of Operations is to direct the improvement of operational performance through coaching, counseling and consulting of Uniban stores in the assigned geographical areas in order to attain defined performance goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in management.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience or related experience.
  • Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding and analysis of operational KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Understanding and analysis of financial KPIs.
  • Understanding and analysis of Profit and Loss, balance sheet and other required financial statements.
  • Travel required: 70-80%, mostly franchise locations local to the Kingston to Ottawa areas.

Responsibilities

  • Improve operational performance and profitability of each franchise location.
  • Provide customer complaint management and resolution, case management.
  • Attend and provide oversight in business group meetings as required.
  • Support (EPG) Performance Groups and Operational Performance Groups when required.
  • Monitor and coach store management to increase profitability performance of each franchise location in the designated territory.
  • Attend Operations Meetings, Edge Performance Groups (EPG) and additional trainings as required.
  • Validate and maintain Uniban standards and contractual obligations.
  • Support and drive Uniban initiatives.
  • Visit Uniban locations and create and distribute reports on visits.
  • Create and distribute reports on store KPIs in designated territory.
  • Attend and provide oversight in Business Group meetings as required.
  • Support Uniban’s integration process as required.
  • Support Uniban’s contract renewal process and maintain retention of current stores.
  • Provide effective and timely response to all communications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
