Job Overview We are seeking a results-driven Multifamily Area Manager to oversee and manage our Multifamily HVAC operations across multiple multifamily construction projects in Jacksonville. This leadership role requires a combination of field expertise, team management, and project oversight. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are executed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with company standards and client expectations. As the Area Manager, you’ll serve as the key point of contact between field teams, subcontractors, and internal leadership—ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

Requirements

7+ years of HVAC experience, with at least 3 in multifamily construction
Proven leadership and project management experience in a construction setting
EPA Universal Certification required; NATE Certification preferred
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation processes, and building codes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Service Titan or other project management software experience a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong advantage
Must be willing to travel within the Jacksonville area or other assigned territories
Must be able to pass a background check, and drug tests prior to and throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple HVAC multifamily project sites within a designated area
Manage and mentor field superintendents, foremen, and HVAC technicians
Ensure all work meets local code, safety regulations, and project specifications
Monitor project timelines, labor allocation, and budgets to maximize profitability
Coordinate with construction managers, general contractors, and clients
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure progress and quality standards
Resolve issues related to manpower, materials, and client expectations
Track KPIs and report on project and personnel performance
Maintain strong communication with executive leadership and stakeholders
Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of field staff as needed
Perform a Takeoff on every project and have completed by the turnover meeting.
Check all your projects in Procore
Review RFI’s or plan discrepancies and work with GC to rectify any perceived issues
