Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for an Area Safety & Health Manager to join our team in the Pensacola, FL area. The Area HSE Manager provides support and oversight for the administration and overall implementation of jobsite health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Exempt role; Reports to the HSE Director; Establishes procedures for specific goals in a broad area of work / only results are reviewed / develops procedures within limits of policy and guidelines.

Requirements

Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience with at least 4 years in a leadership role
Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

Assist with identification of jobsite HSE needs and strategies
Staffing of project locations with qualified HSE personnel
Guidance and support of jobsite Health and Safety Managers
Implementation of HSE improvement tools and processes
Provide appropriate interface and guidance for project locations and management team on health and safety issues
Interface with Project Management personnel
Implementation and monitoring of the Company's HSE Management System
Tracking and trending of critical company HSE data and metrics
Providing input for the updating of key company HSE programs and processes including company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance items
Provide appropriate interface and guidance for project locations and management team on health and safety issues as related to overall responsibility
Assist with identification of departmental HSE needs and strategies
Assist in development of HSE improvement tools and processes
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
