About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an experienced Area General Manager to lead a dynamic, multi‑site food service operation across three corporate accounts in South Carolina . This is a high‑impact leadership role for a results‑driven operator who excels at client partnership, financial performance, and team development. Based onsite at our Columbia, SC location, the Area General Manager will have full oversight of that account while providing strategic leadership and operational direction for two additional locations in Greenville, SC and Wilson, SC . Travel is estimated at 30–40% , offering variety and exposure across multiple business environments. Our food operations include cafés, catering services, and micro‑markets , delivering innovative and reliable dining experiences to our clients and their guests.

  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership, building trusted, long‑term partnerships
  • Lead overall operational performance across three accounts, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost controls to meet or exceed business targets
  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of 5 salaried managers and approximately 12 hourly employees
  • Drive engagement, accountability, and Sodexo’s food safety and service standards
  • Partner with regional leadership to implement strategic initiatives and growth opportunities
