The Area Facilities Management Director provides leadership within a defined region for ongoing TJC readiness, compliance with local, state, federal and regulatory requirements, and maintenance of compliance documentation. The role provides completion of annual audits of hospitals within the assigned region and additional audits outside the region as required. The Area Facilities Management Director directs the Maintenance and associated Departments function of multiple Hospitals. This includes regulatory compliance, work order system(s) and operation, building repair and maintenance, budgeting, first impressions and cleanliness of the Hospital. While the Area Director of Facilities Management may be located in one hospital, the responsibilities to the other hospitals are the same. The Area Facilities Management is also responsible for assisting the Regional Facilities Management Director to create an environment and culture that enables hospitals to fulfill the mission by meeting or exceeding its goals, conveying the organization's mission to staff, holding staff accountable for performance, and motivating staff to improve performance.
