About The Position

Western States Lodging & Management (WSLM) is seeking an Area Director of Sales - Senior Living to lead sales strategy, performance, and team development across our Nevada senior living communities. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who blends strategic sales execution with hands-on coaching and relationship- driven leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of B2C sales experience (senior living, hospitality, real estate, or similar preferred)
3+ years of sales leadership experience preferred
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
CRM proficiency and strong data-driven decision-making skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally/regionally

Responsibilities

Lead and execute sales strategy across an assigned cluster of senior living communities
Drive occupancy, prospect pipeline health, ready-wait list growth, and topline revenue
Coach, mentor, and develop community sales leaders and teams to exceed performance goals
Provide on-site sales leadership support, including fill-in coverage when needed
Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and referral performance
Partner with Executive Directors and Operations leaders to align sales and community performance
Ensure consistent use of WSLM's "Personal Touch" sales system and CRM best practices
Support pre-sales, community ramp-ups, redevelopments, and acquisitions
Build and maintain strong referral pipelines and community partnerships
Prepare and present sales, occupancy, and pipeline reports to senior leadership
