About The Position

Functional Pathways is seeking an experienced and driven Area Director of Operations (ADO) to lead multiple facilities across Virginia. This salaried role offers the opportunity to earn quarterly incentives based on performance. Regular travel is required to support and engage with on-site teams, making a hands-on impact. The ADO is responsible for ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-quality care across all facilities. Requirements

Must have a bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Must meet all certification and licensure requirements as established by the state and national board associations
Active state license
Must possess a current certification from NBCOT if required by state (OT/COTAs only)
Must possess a current certification from ASHA (CCC) Certification (SLPs only)
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
Multi-site management experience (1-3yrs)

Ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-quality care across all facilities
Conducting on-site visits
Fostering team engagement
Identifying and addressing challenges
Ensuring accessibility to staff
Leading structured meetings with Team Leaders
Collaborating closely with facility administrators
Maintaining open communication with the VP of Operations
Overseeing documentation processes
Overseeing performance evaluations
Overseeing staff disciplinary actions
Driving quality assurance initiatives
Implementing innovative rehabilitation programs
