Originating in 2015 as the doctoral research of CEO George Netscher—and inspired by his own family's experience with Alzheimer's disease—SafelyYou was spun out of UC Berkeley’s Artificial Intelligence Research Lab, one of the top five AI research groups in the world. And today, our company is solving critical challenges in senior living, from resident falls and ER visits to staffing concerns, length of stay, and NOI. All helping ensure that communities can focus on improved care for residents while still reaching their financial goals. SafelyYou is one of five most innovative fall technologies referenced in the Senate Falls Report (2019), a winner of the McKnight’s Tech Partner of the Year, and has been named to Fortune’s Impact 20 list, which recognizes companies making people’s lives better through innovation. We are looking for an Area Director of Enterprise Sales ideally based in the Central USA. The Area Director of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for securing new logos, and managing the full sales cycle for enterprise operators with twenty communities or more. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can build relationships and engage with C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a hunter mentality, focusing on lead generation, contract execution, and successful handoff to account management and clinical success teams. Our Central Region includes: MN, WI, IA, IL, MO, KS, OK, TX

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales, preferably in technology sales.
  • Experience engaging with C-suite executives and managing complex sales processes.
  • Strong prospecting skills with a focus on lead generation and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 2-3 times/month for events and client meetings.
  • Passionate about our mission and our technology.
  • Experience with G Suite, Office 360, Salesforce and Slack.

Nice To Haves

  • Senior Living or other SaaS healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new enterprise business opportunities within the designated region.
  • Own the entire sales process, from initial contact and lead generation through contract negotiation and execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives through in-person meetings, virtual presentations, and ongoing communication.
  • Work closely with account management and clinical success teams to ensure a smooth transition post-sale.
  • Travel to attend state and regional conferences and events to promote SafelyYou's solutions and generate leads; up to 2-3 events and/or client on-site meetings per month are typical.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, to effectively position SafelyYou’s offerings.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity reports to track progress against goals in our CRM.
  • Provides prospect feedback on products, services, and policy to respective Company partners.
