The Area Director of Business Transient Sales will work tactically within the scope of direction from the Director of Sales at THREE midwest properties and is primarily responsible for the revenue generation of Business Transient segments as defined by the hotels' Revenue Strategy Teams. This highly motivated individual will promote and develop new business, while maintaining existing client relationships for enhanced production. Priority will be given to candidates with strong experience in the Business Transient Market. The Area Director of BT will oversee transient sales efforts in Minneapolis, Omaha, and Kansas City. This is a remote position, with 10-15% estimated travel if not living in one of the three supported markets. If you’re reading this job post, you already know the drill. We’re seeking a seasoned Business Travel sales expert to lead and grow this critical segment across three important assets in the Davidson portfolio. As the Area Director of BT Sales, you’ll drive the strategy behind our corporate travel business—cultivating strong relationships with key national and regional accounts, identifying new opportunities in the market, and ensuring each property is positioned to capture its fair share of weekday demand. You’ll partner closely with on-property sales teams to build and execute smart BT strategies, manage RFP and account negotiations, analyze market trends, and continuously look for ways to grow market share. This is a role for someone who knows the business travel segment inside and out, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and takes pride in connecting great hotels with the travelers who rely on them week after week.
