Archivist The Archivist will perform duties that facilitate the conservation, preservation, research and discovery of archives materials using international archives standards for historic materials. The Archivist will process, inventory, and perform descriptive cataloguing and finding aid creation of Archives collections. The Archivist will perform preliminary/preparatory processing of archives materials and will recommend, plan, and perform descriptive, processing, storage and handling interventions. Additionally, the Archivist will prepare materials for digitization and restoration projects and liaise with vendors and perform quality control and metadata verification for completed projects as well as perform research to support authentication, verification and strategic heritage communications.
