Participate in all functions of Special Collections and Archives, including access, arrangement, description, and management of physical and electronic local history collections and university records. Albertsons Library is the vibrant, nurturing hub of Boise State. This is a space where people and ideas flourish through research and creative activities. The Library provides high quality, relevant services to students, faculty, staff, and community members. Resources are available in person, over the phone and/or online. This includes databases, journals, books, interlibrary loan, electronics, a makerlab, and Special Collections and Archives. We also offer rooms for studying, a family study room for students with children, and spaces for exhibits and events. Special Collections and Archives (SCA) preserves and makes accessible over 400 manuscript collections, the University’s archives and records, and a collection of rare books. SCA engages a variety of researchers and learners on campus, throughout the community, and beyond with our physical and digital collections. Fully competent and productive professional contributor who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
