About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Architecture Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location. Duties: Research, design, and develop computer software or specialized utility programs. Provide architecture and development support for business initiatives and North America (NAM) Technology projects. Provide Enterprise Architectural and software development vision that conforms to the business capabilities, processes and business functions. Partner with business users and technology managers to define, develop and maintain target-state architecture for the Branded Cards, Marketing, Retail Services and Retail Banking domains, including cards authorization and processing systems, transaction management systems, fraud detection systems and APIs. Review information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system in conformance to the business architecture standards and justify business benefits in the proposed technical framework. Serve as a subject matter expert in Cards, Marketing, Retail, Authorizations, Payments and Consumer Loans within the architecture group and drive business initiatives. Work with business transformation team and technology stakeholders to align the functional capabilities of applications with Enterprise Business Processes and Process Models with an overall objective of technology simplification. Interface with diverse stakeholders across project management, development, business and architecture governance, to define the strategic direction of future technology projects and track impact of the initiatives in achieving business outcomes. Assess decommission, inception and rationalization of applications based on the established business strategy and enterprise architecture standards. Analyze technology initiatives during the annual budgeting and planning cycles to ensure alignment with the business investment vision. Assess technology projects and their scope for “Permit to Build” approvals, ensuring adherence to internal Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM) and established business architectural standards. Utilize various enterprise tools and platforms including Confluence, JIRA, Project Tracking System, Change Management tool, Architecture Review Tools to manage and prioritize activities such as Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM) analysis, application sequence flows, regulatory requirements and technology project documentation. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as an Architecture Analyst, Digital Software Engineer Analyst, IT Analyst, System Engineer, or related position involving systems architecture for cards and retail banking services domains.
  • 6 years of experience must include: Assessing current state process models and identifying applications, data concepts, risks and controls
  • Performing assessments using cards and marketing related applications to meet Software Development Life Cycle artifacts, policies and procedures
  • Creating and tracking the execution of a domain level roadmap of initiatives
  • Gathering and documenting current state architecture and creating target state architecture
  • Payment authorization systems, including International Bankcard Systems
  • Cards processing, transaction management, and marketing systems including Fiserv, Enterprise Fraud Detection system, Campaign, and Sales Offer Engine
  • Business functions as required for the Software Development Lifecycle.
