About The Position

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Architecture Intern to join our Building & Facilities Project Management team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Rhino, 3-D Max, Sketch-up is a plus and LEED Accreditation.
  • Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the initial design phase and contribute to detailed architectural design work for projects in collaboration with various disciplines, clients, and consultants.
  • Support the preparation of architectural plans under the supervision of senior architects.
  • Assist in the analysis of design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details.
  • Participate in site and construction inspections to gather information and assist in preparing interpretive reports.
  • Aid in executing code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions.
  • Contribute to analyzing design and construction systems, design layouts, and construction features by researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to support project integration and cohesion.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing project work under supervision.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support project goals and team objectives.
