Architecture and Construction Management Intern
About The Position
Integrous is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Architecture or Construction Management Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 season. This is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between architectural design and field operations, helping a growing leader in the fencing and decking industry professionalize our design standards and streamline our sales-to-build process. Role Overview Compensation: $18/hr Timeframe: May – August 2026 Primary Objective: To elevate our visual offerings to clients and provide critical technical drawing support to our sales and operations departments.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp) and 3D rendering tools.
- Strong spatial reasoning and a keen eye for architectural aesthetics.
- Ability to translate complex custom components into clear, accurate technical drawings.
- A proactive "problem-solver" mindset—you aren't just drawing; you’re helping us build a better system.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D renderings for all deck projects to enhance the client experience and provide high-value sales tools.
- Draft detailed Deck Floor Plans for production and permitting.
- Inject fresh architectural perspectives into our design process to address current creative gaps in our project portfolio.
- Create a comprehensive library of Fence Drawings for all standard styles, modeled after our existing Garden Fence standards.
- Develop a standardized set of Automated Gate Drawings to serve as high-detail templates for future projects.
- Produce technical drawings for custom, proprietary automated gate components.
- Assist in drafting supporting documentation and managing the permit submission process.
- Collaborate on the configuration of pre-configured kits within our ERP system to help the Sales team generate faster, more accurate estimations.
- Partner with our design lead (Gabby) to take over technical drafting tasks, allowing her to focus on advanced estimation and project scaling.
