Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Wood Finisher to prepare and apply finishes to custom millwork. This role focuses on achieving consistent, high-quality results that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of wood finishing experience (architectural millwork preferred)
• Experience with spray equipment and finishing materials
• General Knowledge of different finishes, i.e. 2K urethanes, acrylic urethanes, etc.
• Understanding of wood species and finishing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sand, prepare, and clean wood surfaces for finishing
• Apply stains, paints, sealers, 2K Urethanes, and more
• Mix and match finishes to required colors and specifications
• Operate and maintain spray equipment and finishing tools
• Perform touch-ups and final finishing work
• Read and follow shop drawings and finish specifications
• Inspect work to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Coordinate with production staff to meet deadlines
