CetraRuddy is seeking passionate Architects to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate on a diverse range of cultural, institutional, and residential projects, with access to understand the various phases of the design process. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • If not already licensed, demonstrated interest in actively pursuing or defining a path towards licensure.
  • Able to advance ideas effectively, demonstrating initiative in project development.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic drawing conventions and concepts.
  • Has a growing capacity to manage multiple tasks across various projects while effectively meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to develop professionalism, punctuality, organization, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to proactively seek guidance and support from colleagues.
  • Open to participating in office and firm-wide activities.
  • Proficient in Revit
  • Capability in AutoCAD and Rhino.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Enscape
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Responsibilities

  • Support staff and Project Managers in developing design layouts and frameworks for projects, including preparation of drawings and specifications.
  • Generates the development of design concepts under the guidance of senior staff, contributing to the creative and technical process.
  • Research design and planning to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Prepare project specifications and analyze relevant data for informed decision-making.
  • Participate in writing reports, specifications, estimates, and calculations.
  • Research and gather data on building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Join in site visits to assess project conditions, gather information, and ensure design accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other junior support staff and interns, sharing expertise and assisting with task completion.
  • Develop an understanding of managing tasks on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met through effective collaboration.
  • Provide support as needed to meet project milestones and keep tasks on track.
