About The Position

We are looking for an Architectural Intern who is excited to learn, contribute, and grow in a supportive environment. As part of our team, you'll gain exposure to projects that improve the places where people live, work, and gather. MSA internships are typically at least 12 weeks in duration, ranging from mid-May 2026 to mid-August 2026, with start/exit dates confirmed later in the hiring process. For architectural students seeking consulting experience with building projects, this is the position for you! Additionally, an internship at MSA provides you with a collaborative environment across the firm among the 40 interns each summer. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Professional (Masters or Bachelors) degree in Architecture.
  • Superb written, verbal, and visual communication skills with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset, where knowledge sharing and collaboration come naturally.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate information across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated technical focus and attention to detail.
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Revit preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works under the direction of senior staff, taking on work as assigned.
  • Architectural drawings using Revit.
  • Monitors work effort to perform tasks within the budgeted time provided by the project plan and supervisor.
  • Review drawings and provide feedback.
  • Attend project meetings and engage in team discussions.
