Job Description Architectural internships are an important process for understanding the services in connection with the planning, design and construction of a building or project. Summer internships provide students with invaluable exposure to real projects, experience, interdisciplinary design and best practices in order to pursue their architectural careers. Interns work under the direction of a project manager that serves as the primary supervisor and is assigned a mentor. Interns work on meaningful projects that are educational for the student and benefit the organization and its’ clients. Interns also learn about the how the organization is structured and operates within the greater AEC environment. Potential candidates must have strong technical skills with an eye towards design, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to support projects working both individually and in teams.
