Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Architectural Program.
  • Must have portfolio documenting a penchant for design excellence.
  • Must have demonstrated ability for hand sketching, as well as ability to use computer software for design.
  • Should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Should be proficient with building physical models of conceptual designs as well as final building models.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Revit is ideal but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Sketchup, Photoshop, 3D Studio, Rhino, V-Ray, and other imaging and rendering software is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of design alternatives using a variety of media, including hand drawing, computer visualization, and physical models.
  • Work in coordination with Senior Design Architects and our Principal Design Architect.
  • Participate in the development of presentation documents.
  • Participate in team meetings and design charrettes.
  • Learn to prepare construction documents under the supervision of multi-discipline project team members including architects and engineers.
  • Meet with product vendors to build and maintain the material library.
