About The Position

We are looking for a talented Architectural Estimator to join a growing company dedicated to building high-quality homes and neighborhoods. As a valued member of our Architecture Team, you will play an important role in helping us make our mark by setting a new standard for how our country looks and people live, making them feel special by building homes and neighborhoods with character that they will truly love. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience including 2+ years of homebuilding experience or residential estimating experience and have a high school diploma. The ideal candidate listens generously, using open-ended questions and thoughtful follow-ups to prevent miscommunication and uncover real clarity; demonstrates organized thinking by structuring ideas for maximum impact through clear problem–solution–benefit framing; and speaks clearly, getting to the point with the right level of context, strong articulation, confident tone, and excellent grammar. This role requires strong problem identification, recognizing issues early by observing patterns and gathering input, and excels in problem resolution by identifying root causes, developing and evaluating solutions, implementing plans, and assessing outcomes. The successful candidate also uses time wisely, managing priorities efficiently, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality. You will also need to demonstrate examples of your commitment to “always improving” and “delivering every day” to the highest standards and without error. As Architectural Estimator, you play a critical role in in the Architecture Team by translating architectural plans, specifications, and design intent into accurate, reliable count estimates. Requirements

2+ years of homebuilding experience or residential estimating experience
High school diploma

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates from architectural drawings, specifications, and design renderings.
Collaborate with architects, purchasing, and others to validate assumptions and refine estimates.
Identify variances and opportunities for lowering total cost improvements.
Support budgeting, change analysis, and documentation as projects move from design to construction.
