We are seeking a passionate and motivated Architectural Engineering Co-op to join our team. This is a technical co-op. The co-op performs assignments which have clear and specified objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables. WHY MATRIX? It fulfills university requirements while preparing students for a future in engineering. Many co-ops transition into full-time roles! We offer market-competitive compensation for an Architectural Co-op with an hourly range of $22.00 to $24.00/hourly, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Salaries are based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be a college student enrolled in a technical degree program. Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Ability to travel: <10%

Responsibilities

  • Works in a safe manner at all times. Adheres to both Matrix and client established safety standards when appropriate.
  • Acts in a support role to the project engineer or technical lead. Assigned small tasks which are checked upon completion and before moving onto the next task.
  • Works with more experienced project team members or design projects.
  • Generate CAD drawings based on detailed design provided by an experienced project team member.
  • Follow company design standards.
  • Identify and use appropriate tool for each application.
