About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Architect with a degree from a NAAB accredited program to join our team. You will work on commercial architectural projects ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 square feet, specifically within the education sector. This full-time position requires experience in various phases of architectural design, including programming, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development. You will prepare drawings, conduct preliminary design studies, and create alternatives for review and contract documents.

Requirements

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Architecture and SketchUp.
10+ years of experience in architecture.
Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree.
Knowledge of building codes and construction change directive procedures.
Ability to handle permitting processes and respond to submittal and RFI documentation.

Nice To Haves

Licensed architect (desired but not required).
LEED Accredited Professional (desired but not required).
Flexibility to focus on a single client or multiple projects at various stages.

Responsibilities

Create architectural models using Revit for commercial and educational projects.
Manage projects from schematic design through to construction administration.
Prepare and review drawings for schematic design and design development.
Produce amendments, addenda, and bulletins, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare client presentation materials, including design sketches, renderings, and graphics.
Assist in preparing adaptations and technical alternatives for project team review.
Utilize knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
