Corporate office hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs. On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours. Compensation Package– $105,000 - $115,000 / year The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based upon a candidate’s experience and the geographical location of this position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in architectural design.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in large-scale multi-family project design.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or related field required (equivalent experience considered for candidates without a bachelor’s degree).
  • Licensed architect in one of the 50 states, with company-provided financial support for obtaining reciprocity in Washington.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience using Revit.
  • Strong understanding of building code, zoning regulations, and multifamily industry standards.
  • Ability to lead design efforts with oversight.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Address zoning code issues, providing clarity on ambiguous areas.
  • Contribute creative ideas and details to the design team.
  • Assist in presentations to the design team and directors.
  • Produce high-quality construction documents using Revit/BIM.
  • Manage access to architectural drawings and files.
  • Ensure timely completion of construction drawings based on approved plans.
  • Analyze zoning codes and provide summary reports to supervisors.
  • Coordinate site plans with senior architects, accounting for topography and jurisdiction standards.
  • Review grading and drainage plans for compliance.
  • Participate in weekly RFI and coordination meetings.
  • Attend public meetings and hearings as needed for architectural support.
  • Support architectural tasks for multiple projects.
  • Assist with site observations and contract conformance reports.
  • Review scopes of work and proposals for consultants with supervisor guidance.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to supervisors.
  • Address RFI, submittal, and change order issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with external consultants as directed by supervisor.
  • Serve as the point of contact between ACG Design and outside consultants.
  • Ensure timely completion of work by external consultants.
  • Ensure ADA compliance with guidance from senior architects.
  • Assist in quality control reviews and accuracy of consultant drawings.
  • Adhere to ACG Design policies and procedures.
  • Promote teamwork and timely completion of projects.
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain punctuality.
  • Adjust schedules to meet project timelines and priorities.
