About The Position
Archaeological Field Technician – Phase I Survey, North Carolina RK&K is seeking a qualified Archaeological Field Technician for a large Phase I archaeological survey in North Carolina. Pay rates range from $18.00 - $22.00/hr and will be commensurate with experience. All projects will include lodging and per diem. Requirements
- BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
- Archaeological field school
- Ability to work in the field under adverse conditions
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to walk long distances
- Ability to document shovel test excavations and record detailed test unit notes
- Ability to work well with others
Nice To Haves
- Phase I experience strongly preferred
