About The Position
As a machine operator with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management. The role involves receiving work assignments and schedules from plant supervision, obtaining material manually or with crane or forklift and moving it to the work area, using tools and equipment to fabricate each component to match the fabrication print, and checking the quality of each component while completing quality control reporting.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-year of manufacturing experience.
- Experience working on manufacturing equipment.
- Good organizational and math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Receives work assignments and schedules from plant supervision.
- Obtains material manually or with crane or forklift and moves to work area.
- Uses tools and equipment to fabricate each component to match the fabrication print.
