The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a software engineer to work on exciting new capture and photography experiences. This team is working with some of Apple's most advanced technologies including augmented reality (AR), machine learning (ML) and computer vision (CV). As a member of our organization you will drive exploration of future products that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people.

As part of visionOS Capture and Photos team, you will define the overall experience of our platforms; ultimately impacting the way our customers use our products. You will work closely with Apple's framework teams and Human Interface designers - pushing you to think outside-the-box, and solve incredibly challenging and interesting problems in the AR/VR space. You will have access to a wide variety of internal frameworks and services that will allow you to create an application that is deeply integrated into our operating systems.

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in software development
• Proficiency in an application programming language, such as C/C++, Objective-C, Swift, etc.
• Experience using Apple development tools and APIs
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience with building capture oriented applications
• Familiarity with computer vision techniques and algorithms
• Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for AR/VR technologies and photography
• Proof of concept development expertise
• Experience building complex applications that are functional, beautiful and delightful.
• Proficiency in iOS development practices
