About The Position

G&C Food Distributors is a re-distributor of refrigerated, frozen, and dry food. We store and deliver more than 4,000 food items to meet the needs of our customers across all cross the United States and internationally. In recent years, G&C Foods has grown to be one of the most respected redistributors in the United States. We are rapidly expanding all areas of our organization. The AR Specialist supports the finance department through a variety of administrative, accounting-based activities. This individual must be dependable, have excellent communication skills, must be able to work independently as well as in a team. The work environment is fast-paced and progressive.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
2+ years of office accounting experience preferred
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
Detail oriented
Excellent time management skills
Excellent customer service skills both over the phone as well as in person
Conflict resolution experience preferred
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Experience with Enterprise software a plus

Responsibilities

Apply payments to customer accounts
Review & follow up on outstanding accounts receivables
Send invoices weekly to customers
Prepare and send bank deposits
Resolve deductions and vendor billbacks
Balance accounts daily
Interact with personnel from other departments (sales, transportation, warehouse, purchasing
