About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented AR Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing accounts receivable functions, including collections and deductions, ensuring effective cash flow and excellent customer service.

Requirements

2+ years of AR experience including B2B collections or deductions experience.
High School Diploma at a minimum.
Strong communication skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with collections, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, receivables, aging report, deductions, and SAP.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a corporate AR environment.
SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Research and determine root causes for deductions and past due invoices to reduce future occurrences by collaborating with customers and internal business partners.
Contact customers and internal business partners to gather information related to the collection of outstanding accounts receivable.
Provide frequent analysis of customer account status and updates to management as needed.
Review orders on hold/release report and take necessary actions.
Prepare weekly worklists for collection activities and ad hoc reports as assigned.
Monitor daily incoming cash receipts, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, for effective collection management.
Proactively identify trends and assist in implementing process improvements.
Partner with sales management and customer service management to ensure the highest level of professionalism and customer service in resolving outstanding issues.
