About The Position

Key Responsibilities Manage and work DME AR and billing claims, with a focus on Inogen oxygen claims Process and actively work a minimum of 30 claims per day due to current backlog Follow up with insurance payors (Medicare and commercial) via phone and portals to resolve unpaid, denied, or pending claims Identify and take appropriate action on claims, including: Securing payment Correct write‑offs Reworking and resubmitting denied claims Qualifications Prior experience in DME billing and accounts receivable (required) Strong familiarity with Medicare billing and claims and insurance payor requirements Experience working insurance claims end‑to-end, including payer follow‑ups Brightree experience is a plus Comfortable working high claim volumes and strict productivity metrics Strong attention to detail and follow‑through Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively . Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Requirements

  • Prior experience in DME billing and accounts receivable (required)
  • Strong familiarity with Medicare billing and claims and insurance payor requirements
  • Experience working insurance claims end‑to-end, including payer follow‑ups
  • Comfortable working high claim volumes and strict productivity metrics
  • Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
