As an Accounts Receivable (AR) & Credit Specialist, you'll be the guardian of our company's financial health. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will ensure our invoice process runs like a well-oiled machine, maximizing cash flow and revenue. By expertly managing customer credit and diligently verifying and posting cash receipts, you'll be instrumental in securing our bottom line and driving our company's growth and profitability. Your commitment to accuracy and ability to identify potential risks will give our leadership team the financial insights they need to make informed decisions, positioning us for long-term success.

Requirements

  • A two- or four-year degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, including the Windows operating system
  • Proficiency in desktop software applications such as Microsoft Office (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, project management)
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience with Internet sites, such as customer portals
  • Experience with other business software including CRM tools (Sales Force), Automation & Interface Tools, and Credit Software (Bectran)

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience is strongly desired
  • Fluency in a second language a plus (Spanish or French preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Leverage cutting-edge credit platforms to expertly manage customer credit, assess risk, and establish appropriate limits - safeguarding our bottom line
  • Facilitate timely invoice payments and proactively resolve billing issues, ensuring our cash flow remains strong
  • Reconcile accounts receivable data with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining accurate financial records
  • Generate insightful reports that provide our leadership team with the credit and collections insights they need to drive strategic decisions
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to support customer onboarding and provide credit recommendations that foster strong client relationships
  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and leverage automation, enhancing the efficiency of our accounts receivable and credit functions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of credit policies that align with industry best practices and our company's safety-first culture
