The FOSS General Manager (GM) will oversee our NEW Parker, CO location. Focus areas include operational and financial performance, staffing and employee engagement, swim path curriculum, customer service, and general school management. The General Manager acts as the main point of contact for their team and customers. This role is designed both for emerging leaders and those transiting their career to a new industry. Founded in 1993 on the belief that anyone can learn to swim well, Foss Swim School is a premier swim school with 33+ locations across the Midwest and Colorado and is poised for continued growth. Primary Responsibilities: The following essential functions represent the primary work performed; however, the GM may be asked to assist with projects or tasks not detailed here but fall within the scope of this role. GM’s will train to learn key roles including Swim Teacher, Customer Support Service, Teacher Assistant, Supervisor, Assistant Manager and General Manager. Through these rotations, GM’s will learn to manage FOSS methods and processes and build strengths in competencies such as business acumen, time management, organizational execution, and accountability, and developing, motivating, and managing talent.
