The role reports directly to the Swim School Director.

Requirements

Caring and compassion for children and adults
Ability to lead and share your knowledge with others in a way they understand
Experience teaching and leading staff
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Great attitude and willingness to be coached
The ability to commit to afternoons and weekend shifts

Responsibilities

Ensure all Leaders are submitting daily reports
Communicate with Swim School Director about changes needed to the lesson plans
Responsible for staff scheduling in ConnectTeam
Monthly meetings with the Swim School Director to discuss the swim department
Conduct semi-annual reviews as they come up
Monitor new hire online learning with the help of the Training Coordinator and schedule new hire in-water training
Ensure safety weeks and theme weeks are set up the Saturday before
