Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of aquatics facilities and populations Has thorough knowledge of recreation software administration and has the ability to train staff Trains, supervises, and evaluates the Aquatics Specialist to ensure efficient and effective operations of the aquatic facilities and programs Manages the aquatics budget by monitoring revenues and expenditures to assure sound fiscal control and prepares annual budget requests Manages contractual agreements for aquatics work Oversees the safety, maintenance and cleanliness of the swimming pools and ensures that pools are in compliance with state and federal regulations Other duties as assigned Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in parks and recreation, health and physical education or a related field is required and some related experience required.
